Please ladies when announcing travel dates and other personal events/information on Twitter be smart about it. Remember Twitter is a public domain and is followed by all sorts. Bad people keep track of things, travel plans included - especially if they take a fancy to you. You would not be the first person to have your home broken into or to arrive home and find unexpected visitors waiting for you because of your profession.

It is your life and you may do with it as you will. I honestly have no interest in what you do, who you do it with or how you do it as long as you are being smart about it. That applies to so many areas of my life.

Jump down my throat if you’d like. Unfollow me from twitter too. Rant and rave in other communities about me. That isn’t a big deal to me. Your safety though i care about. I have had friends come home from the movies to find their animals have been traumatized by home invaders watching their timeline. Thankfully they weren’t home and her pets are fine but remember - the internet is not a 100% safe zone. Your personal information can fall into the wrong hands. Letting them know your coming and going doesn’t keep you safe. I know of others where murder was involved. I do not wish these things on anyone. 

If you can still see this - you know who you are - please understand this is where i was coming from. Maybe i caught you at a bad time or something but i tried to put in as much emotion into 140 characters while getting my point across as i could. Apparently i failed at this.

I never was offended. I’m sorry you took what i said as a “scolding”. If you don’t want others involved in your conversations then maybe those conversations should be in private. That is what Direct Messaging is all about. 

I’m not here looking to make friends with the whole world. I am not here to have the most followers. If this has burned a bridge then so be it. Life will move on and hopefully nothing bad will happen to anyone.

PS - if you are friends with this person then you also know about the conversation i am talking about. Please pass this information on to them in hopes that they understand where i was coming from. If they hadn’t unfollowed me they would had heard this from me themselves privately. I am not jumping off bridges or through hoops of fire to save anyone except my family.
